Download Free E-books Here
For a promotion, I'm offering two books, in pdf format, for free downloads. If enough people are interested I may pursue publication in book form, or through Amazon's Kindle.
The two books are: The Selfish Class and Attila, as Told to His Scribes. The first is a detailed study of how the American empire evinces strong parallels with the Roman Empire of the fifth century. It also analyzes why the (western) Roman Empire fell in 476, and why we could still be headed in the same direction. While it was written in 2005, it is still remarkably current, even prescient.
The novel, Attila is a fictional autobiography of someone who is both like and unlike Osama bin Laden, but who single-handedly drove the Roman Empire far along its road to extinction. It is also a story of someone who began with many attractive qualities, but who was corrupted by power, vengeance and cruelty. It's a classic tragedy.

Note: I have not modified the landing pages for either
The Selfish Class, or
Attila, so they are set up as they were when I was selling them. Since this is an experiment, I will keep those pages unchanged, for now. Simply disregard the reference to your payment and your purchase, since you are getting the book for free, and click on the "download here" instruction below the full-sized cover image.
