Books on this Site

If you appreciate what you find on this website, you can buy one of my ebooks, for less than $4. All three are available for download onsite. The books are available in pdf: a non-fiction study in depth of what I have outlined here: the similarity of our contemporary regime to the Late Roman Empire: the means, the extent and the consequences of "Selfish Class" dominance in both eras. The title is: The Selfish Class.

There are also two novels available onsite: Attila, a fictional autobiography--yes an autobiography (Attila as told to his scribes): what he tells them, what they think, and what he thinks, or sees, when he's telling them. He's not a nice guy, although his tale (based on history and folktales) begins when he is an attractive boy on the cusp of manhood; that's when he witnesses his beloved father's murder. Attila is also a lover until the end, but a megalomaniac, an attractive one--up to a point.

His dark side prevails as he gains power over most of Europe. Attila is a classic tragedy: a hero whose flaws of character ultimately lead to his doom.

The other novel, I, Zerco, takes place in the same period, during the late Roman Empire from which this website and the non-fiction book, The Selfish Class, draw parallels to our era. While Attila is a tragedy, I, Zerco is a romance, told by the somewhat comic main character, who triumphs finally, despite many travails.

Zerco existed historically: he is described in a Roman account of Attila's court as a North African freedman, the former King's jester, searching for his beloved on the plains of Hunland. He's the classic survivor and lover, who overcomes incredible odds--and handicaps--to prevail in the end, even while the known world tumbles about his ears.

The books' covers displayed on the e-book page are only on the website pages (but feel free to copy and paste from there: I encourage you to do so).

You will be buying the books direct from the author.
